During the 1950’s and 1960’s, Hamilton Standard developed multiple technologies including jet engine fuel meters, fuel controls, cabin pressure control systems, and more. In 1999, Sundstrand Corporation was acquired by the United Technologies Corporation and was merged with Hamilton Standard to create Hamilton Sundstrand. After more mergers leading up to the present, Hamilton Standard now serves as a part of Collins Aerospace.
