Infotech Industries

Molex manufactures power, optical and signal connectors and cables for fast end-to-end data transfer, linking disk drives, controllers, servers, switches and storage enclosures. End use products include desktop computers, peripheral equipment, servers, and storage components. 

Mobile Device Industries

 In the mobile devices market, products include micro-miniature connectors, flexible printed circuit connectors, SIM and SD card sockets, camera sockets, I/O products, keypads, electromechanical subassemblies and internal antennas. Molex designs and manufactures many of the world’s smallest connectors for a diverse group of market share leaders in mobile phones, tablets and notebook computers. Molex provides both connectors and custom integrated systems for diagnostic and therapeutic equipment used in hospitals, including x-ray, patient monitoring, magnetic resonance imaging and dialysis machines. Military electronics is also one of their focused markets and their products support a range of electronic applications for military use. Products originally developed for the automotive, infotech, mobile devices and telecommunications markets are used in an increasing number of military applications. They are also expanding into non-connector markets, such as solid-state lighting. Molex’s solid-state lighting business focuses on producing solutions that accelerate the adoption of LED lighting in general illumination, including LED holders and packaged LED/electronics products.
