About Breeze-Eastern

The Breeze-Eastern company was initially founded in the year 1926, and has since grounded itself as an equipment manufacturer for several types of helicopters historically and currently in use, such as the Agusta A1B, Sikorsky S-58, CH-53, and H-60, and Boeing’s CH-47 Chinook. They have renamed themselves from TransTechnology Corporation to Breeze-Eastern. In the mid 2000s, Breeze-Eastern operated as the only dedicated helicopter hoist and winch provider, and the world’s largest cargo hook systems manufacturer.
