About TransDigm Inc.

TransDigm Inc. was formed in July 1993 as Novadigm  Inc., a Delaware corporation, in connection with the acquisition of several companies from IMO Industries Inc. Holdings. On July 22, 2003, in connection with the acquisition by Warburg Pincus Private Equity VIII, L.P., certain mergers occurred. This resulted in a newly formed corporation—TD Holding Corp.—which continues to hold all of the outstanding capital stock of TransDigm Inc.

TransDigm is a global supplier of aircraft components used on commercial and military aircraft. These items are approved and certified by airframe manufacturers, government agencies, the Federal Aviation Administration, or similar entities or agencies. TransDigm provides components for base structures on aircraft. In the commercial sector they sell to distributors of aftermarket components, as well as directly to commercial airlines, aircraft maintenance facilities, system suppliers, and aircraft and engine OEMs.
